In the last tutorial we learned in details how to make a blog post in the Blog Beast. Today we are going to learn the SEO module, which is in place in the Empower Network’s viral blogging system. It’s going to be a short Blog Beast tutorial because SEO is made easy for you.

SEO stands for Search Engines Optimization, which is the art or science to get ranked well in search engines such as Google, Bing or Yahoo. Corporate firms pay lots of money to have this done by specialists to have their website optimized, but you can do it a couple of minutes for each post.

Missed the previous tutorials? Go to the login page located here and log in.

Let’s edit the blog post you made in the last tutorial.

Click on the “Edit” link located at the top right of the post in your back-office. This will bring the editor from which you can change anything you want. If you want to delete your post, that’s the link “Delete” you have to click.

Below the blog post is the SEO module.

The 3 important sections, which are Meta Title Tag, Meta Keywords Tag and Meta Description are already populated automatically according to what your blog post is about.

As it is automatic, it is not perfect. You can modify what is suggested with something more relevant to what you wish to have in these three tags.

The Meta Tags are what will show for the post in the search engines. You see that I have changed the keywords for something more relevant and also wrote a description just like I want it to appear in Google.

Click the blue “Update” button when you are done. If you are working on a new post the blue button will be “Publish”

I hope this tutorial will be useful to you and I will see you in the next Blog Beast tutorial.
