What you want to do is to talk to as many people as you can and expand your social circle everyday. This works in giving value and not spamming your link to the leads you find. Contact laser targeted leads the right way and you will be amazed.

Should you click the “Add Friend” button?
The answer is a big NO!
How many Friend’s requests do you think you can send before FaceBook finds out and put you in FB Jail for a month?
I am sure that you don’t want to find the answer to this question the hard way. I don’t have an answer to give you myself.
If you don’t know what FaceBook jail is, it is a limitation put on your account and you can’t add friends or message them.
Should you click the “Follow” button?
You could do that if you want to see updates from your leads, but that’s not going to be very useful in growing your social media circle.
Should you click the “Message” button?
Have you ever received in the past private messages offering you to join a business opportunity? or a message from a young lady in a poor country telling you she wants to be your girl?
If you return to these messages later on, you will notice…
You don’t want this to happen to your marketing right?
Sending your adverts about your business opportunity or offer with your link in a private message is a big NO NO!

It doesn’t work.

What you have to do to contact laser targeted leads is to send a friendly message to the person saying that you want to connect with them. The message is not copywriting, it doesn’t have to be perfect and it has to be written the way you would write to a friend. Be natural, be yourself… and absolutely no links.
This is a good message I received one day and as I was willing to respond to it, it shows that it is good to use.
I suggest that you do not use this exact message in any way, but rewrite it in your own words.
Just reaching out to you man, I see are both entrepreneurs (I’m just a tad younger hahaha) I’m just wanting to expand my social circle with new awesome people and judging by your profile you seem like someone I would like to get to know better.
I’m sure there is a lot we can learn from each other.
I’m all about building relationships, far too many people are just spamming and pitching their business, not really giving any value, what are your thoughts on that?
With the last paragraph in this message, people who are going to respond to your message are only the people who want to build relationships. They are the people you want to be connected to. This will stop spammers and pitchers that you do not want.
When these persons see that you are posting valuable content on your profile and that you are a leader or an authority in your field, they will come to you.
Now that you have a message written, you just have to go through the list and send it to them.
You just have to change the name at the top.
Connect with people that have a decent picture of themselves. If they do not show their faces… are they worth connecting with?
Also… you do not want to connect with a cat, a dog, a cute baby, a book, a company or any cartoon character, do you?
These are example of people I won’t send a message to.
I think you get the idea.
If you do this method everyday consistently and responsibly, you will see people messaging back and friend requests coming in. When you contact laser targeted leads, space your submissions so you are not seen as spamming the same message over an over again. It takes some time, but contacting fewer people will bring better results than mass messaging.
